Road transportation plays an increasingly important role in the economic development of towns, cities and regions of the country. Despite the rising cost of fuel and the requirements to address safety, congestion and environmental impacts, the need for roads and road maintenance continues to grow.
HHO Africa Roads Division has over 50 years of experience in the planning, design, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance management of thousands of kilometers of roads in Southern Africa. The roads have traversed a variety of terrains from major mountain passes to open country and climates from the arid semi-desert Karoo to the west forested areas of the Southern and Eastern Cape. The roads have varied from urban freeways with complex interchanges to rural gravel roads built by labour enhanced contracts.
